Accuracy of Operative Notes and Discharge Summaries

• Assessed errors caused by EPIC auto-filling procedural details, identifying a 33% error rate in operative notes and impact on 7.5% of discharge summaries
• Presented findings at a governance meeting to highlight patient safety risks and propose system and workflow improvements
• Recommended enhanced clinician oversight, review processes, and EPIC refinements to reduce documentation errors and improve discharge accuracy

• Co-developed and led the first structured multidisciplinary teaching programme in the Urology Department at UCLH, addressing a gap in departmental education
• Delivered 13 hybrid sessions since December 2024, attended by over 150 SHOs, registrars, nurses, and physiotherapists; topics ranged from acute urological emergencies to post-operative care
• Secured sponsorship to provide lunch, enhancing engagement and attendance; 95% of formal feedback rated sessions as well-structured, engaging, and knowledge-enhancing

• As members of a dedicated team consisting of eight students, we volunteered in collaboration with the AMEL Association, a non-profit organization in Lebanon to provide psychosocial support to Syrian Refugee Children, specializing in hygiene education and literacy instruction through coordinated teamwork
