- Maintains Capacity and Functionality Requirements: As CS/IMS Planning, I ensure that we maintain capacity and functionality requirements timely and ahead of traffic trends for Circuit Switch Core Network elements
- To achieve this, we monitor various KPIs of the individual network nodes and make use of traffic trend analysis
- I’m responsible for Designing, Planning& Dimensioning for Core Circuit Switch Network including Blade Cluster MSC/GMSC/MGw/HLR/HSS/STP/SBC/that best serves the growth of the core network in terms of traffic, subscribers and value-added service capacity
- I’m responsible for Designing, Planning& Dimensioning for IMS Network
- Ensure Adequate License requirements, Resource requirement: I ensure issues relating to resource requirements to complete design, planning and process tasks, check license requirements for CS/IMS core nodes directly related to any upgrades and the licensing requirements
- I create, analyze and provide recommendation reports related to CS/IMS Core network performance and KPIs for improvement and optimization of node functionality and existing services
- I ensure that statistics related to CS/IMS Network KPIs are being generated reflect the actual Live Nodes on the Network
- Drive Rollout, Installation and Integration of new nodes and systems: I ensure and drive rollout, installation and integration of new nodes and systems in the core network
- I support & Analyze Technical solutions and effect of new feature, services and changes before & after implementation to minimize network and service impact for any changes
- I conduct analysis of network model outputs and traffic patterns to evaluate model and proffer solution if necessary
- I’m responsible for CS/IMS Traffic forecasting and Budget planning
- I prioritize and schedule all the planned work and network element deliverables in line with network capacity requirements
- I provide support for end-to-end integration and input requirements for deployment of CS/IMS new Nodes
- I follow up assigned tasks related to Core projects as a Project member & deliver within agreed time
- I liaise with other Dept
- (MKT/Finance/Carrier/RAFM/EBU) to fulfil all requests/tasks
- I work within defined systems and processes and identify opportunities to improve these systems as appropriate

- MUNIC PROJECT- Core Network Swap Project (2023-DATE): I am the Key SPOC engineers responsible for MTN MUNIC project for swapping Ericsson core network with Huawei NFV cloud SVC (Single Voice Core)
- I was responsible for providing information gathering of the existing network elements, the review and approval of the HLD/LLD for the project and the technical guide for the delivery of the Project
- Session Boader Controller swap Project (2020-2022): I led and ensure a smooth swap of an Ericsson Session Boader gateway to a Huawei Session Boader controller which calls interconnect traffic and enterprise Business voice solution
- Ericsson Classic HLR to Ericsson UDC swap Project (2018-2019): I was the planning engineer responsible for approval of the HLD and LLD for the project
- I drive the installation and integration of the new network element as well as the migration of subscribers to the new HLR
- MTN IP Multimedia Subsystem Project (2017-2019): As a lead IMS planning engineer, I drive the design, installation, and integration of IMS network on an NFV

- This technology is to replace both fixed phone service and mobile service in the near future that is but merging them together into one subsystem
- Vodafone Session Boarder controller (SBC): I did daily operations and maintenance of the Vodafone SBC a SIP protocol base gateway through configuration and establishing of new route to other operators (national and international) and also resolution of faults/issues that arises during my period of stay with Huawei
- IGW migration: I perform the migration of interconnect E1s during the implementation/installations of 2 Huawei International gateways (UMG8900) to replace existing Ericson AXE IOG switch for Vodafone Ghana
- E-Gov NGN project: During the implementation of NGN based architecture for the government of Ghana to provide voice, video and data to its Ministries, institutions, agencies and districts assemblies
- I was in charge of installation and configuration of software in acceptance stage
