During my time at John Lewis, I faced many different challenges which I worked through. I learned how to control and manage a fast-paced high-stress environment by managing the shop floor and ensuring that our customers as well as staff had the best experience. I did this by organising and prioritising tasks in order to allow the shop floor to remain effective and allow our staff to have the ability to give the best customer experience. I also took care of complaints and problems any customers may have had and I managed to de-escalate the situation and manage to come to an understanding where both parties were satisfied. I also accepted and processed cash, cheques, cards and mobile payments using POS systems. In addition, I greeted customers and offered assistance with selecting merchandise, finding accessories and completing purchases.

I led a team of six skilled individuals, where I was in charge of maintaining the flow of work around the work site. Additionally, I helped customers get the required work done to their vehicles, as well as this, I closed deals on the sales of both cars and vans. I also provided optimum assistance to the general manager where business responsibilities were shared between the general manager and me. I also took care of logging expenses into programs to ensure the business data and expenses were kept up to date and in order.
