Rory Scott

• I was was in charge of a commercial vessel with crew for a trip boat company down in Birmingham. I did a one hour commentated tour outside the ICC in Birmingham. It was about a 3 mile round trip. We went to the Edgbaston Reservoir and back down to the ICC.
• My daily responsibilities was to insure the safety of the crew and of the passengers coming in and out of the vasal.
• Following MAC (Maritime Coastguard Agency) guidelines of daily checks. For example making sure that the navigation lights, life rings and horns were working properly as well as checking inside the vessel making sure that the fist aid box's and the fire extinguishers are up-to-date and generally looking for wears and tears on the boat.
• Reporting back to the land manger of the passenger count

This job was my second job for a short time job and it was only a event waitering service job that did as my main job was only a seasonal job. I was recommended by my ex-colleague of mine who worked part-time there and I was looking to save up to get my own place.

My reasonability's was to making sure that food safety standards were met as well showing clear communication skills to the team/team larders and to the clients that I was serving.

I all so had experience of leading a team myself.
