I make sure to build a good relationship with my students to keep them interested in the lessons. I balance my university studies with my weekly teaching duties. To create a good learning environment, I use effective behaviour management strategies and report in detail on students' progress and their attitudes towards learning during meetings with their parents. I also plan exciting extracurricular activities to ensure students develop socially and in other areas. I break down complex concepts into simple and useful information, which helps students understand the subject better. Using various resources and technologies, I maximise student engagement and understanding. Working with teaching assistants and mentors is key to giving extra help to students who struggle. I support students with different learning difficulties, ensuring they understand key concepts in core subjects. By identifying students' strengths and weaknesses, I give constructive feedback to help them get better results. I pay special attention to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) by adjusting lesson content and how it's delivered to meet their needs. Throughout all this, I carry out my daily duties accurately and efficiently.

I'm responsible for mentoring a group of six primary school-aged children, providing support in one-hour sessions. My role involves bridging their knowledge gaps with thorough explanations and continuous support. I strive to boost the confidence of children who might struggle with low self-esteem or a disinterest in learning, offering constant encouragement and praise. My assistance extends to the primary school curriculum, focusing on English and Maths and preparing students for the 11+ exams through verbal and non-verbal reasoning exercises. I emphasise the importance of perseverance and determination in achieving success. Additionally, I've equipped students with crucial tips for exams and assessments and taught them study skills and strategies to tackle areas they find challenging.

As a student primary teacher, I covered absent teachers and taught according to the curriculum plans. I created and marked exams and activities to monitor student progress. I supported departmental development to meet new requirements. Despite studying at university, I balanced my workload and teaching duties. I identified student strengths and weaknesses and provided feedback to improve results. I supported students with learning difficulties to understand core subjects. I upheld behaviour management policies and adapted content for students with special needs. I created lesson plans with mandatory topics and immersive activities. I minimised classroom disruptions and stimulated critical thinking.

As an educator, I have aided in the enhancement of educational, emotional, and social development. I have managed pupil behaviour to ensure productive classes and acted as a role model, promoting the school's mission and values. By fostering positive relationships with students, I have facilitated improved learning outcomes. Additionally, I have provided support to special needs students, identified disruptions to learning, and created engaging learning environments. I have also adapted instruction to meet diverse needs and attended to the basic physical needs of younger children. Finally, I have delivered additional learning support opportunities to small groups of students, enabling them to gain academic confidence.

I worked closely with the SENCO to effectively plan and deliver an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for a student. I provided the student with the necessary resources to complete their assignments and collected their work. During in-class activities and projects, I offered personalized support to the student and identified any signs of distress. I resolved any behavioural and emotional issues that arose and used motivational techniques to help the student succeed. By doing so, I was able to assist the student in reaching important social development milestones. Additionally, I taught the student essential skills for academic success, such as learning, studying, and behaviour management.

I created a safe and stimulating classroom environment to maximize student engagement and attainment. Additionally, I organized classroom spaces and prepared materials for upcoming teacher lessons. To ensure maximum student learning time, I provided smooth transitioning support between lessons, and supervised students in wider school environments such as the dining room, library, and playground. I supported the classroom teacher in monitoring, assessing, and recording students' progress. Furthermore, I assisted children with eating, dressing, and other aspects of personal care while encouraging independence.

I worked as an Onboarding Administrator at Gattaca, an Onboarding Coordinator at Accenture, and a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Teach First. My responsibilities included handling incoming calls for staff, answering questions, directing calls, and documenting messages. I efficiently sorted and distributed incoming mail to the correct recipients throughout busy office environments and created monthly reports. Additionally, I coordinated reference and background checks to ensure compliance with right-to-work guidelines, crafted contracts for new staff members, and organised induction social events for new graduates joining the company. I also registered staff information on the database to maintain accurate records, briefed candidates about responsibilities, salary, and job benefits, and informed candidates about interview results, making job offers to successful interviewees.

For over three years, I worked in various roles that involved interacting with customers. I worked as a Retail Assistant at Thompson's Plant and Garden Centre and Next in London and Canterbury. I was also a bar staff member for Thames Luxury Charters and a Student Ambassador at Canterbury Christ Church University.

As a Retail Assistant, I made sure that the store ran smoothly by following company procedures and guidelines. This involved tagging products with price tags and stickers and operating cash registers accurately for cash and card transactions. I assisted customers in finding specific items, recommended products based on their needs, and promoted the customer loyalty scheme at checkout. I also kept the sales floor clean and trained new team members.

As a bar staff member, I was responsible for maintaining stock levels, cleaning and restocking the bar, and greeting and serving customers. I made sure payments were processed promptly to keep wait times short.
