Bringing a unique combination of four years’ NHS experience as a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker, alongside comprehensive ODP training across a diverse range of surgical specialties.
Throughout my journey into Operating Department Practice, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of teamwork, communication and patient advocacy at some of the most vulnerable moments in a person’s healthcare journey. My clinical training across Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Royal Papworth Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has provided experience within general surgery, complex cardiothoracic procedures, emergency and trauma theatres, paediatrics, maternity, intensive care and specialist services.
Confident across anaesthetic, scrub and circulating environments, I have developed strong clinical awareness, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused within fast-paced situations. My previous NHS experience has strengthened my resilience, adaptability and understanding of delivering compassionate care within a multidisciplinary team.
I am a reflective and enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to continuous learning, patient safety and professional development.
