Summary

As a highly motivated and aspiring Individual, I am thrilled to apply for the position at Direct Line Group. With a strong passion for technology and a basic foundation in programming languages such as Python and Java, I am eager to contribute and further my skills whilst working enthusiastically within a diverse and dynamic team. Throughout my academic studies and personal projects I have developed a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as an instinctively collaborative mindset. I am committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends while leveraging emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions. With an innate drive for excellence, adaptability combined with my natural curiosity, I would be honoured to have the opportunity to embark on your exciting apprenticeship opportunity to further enhance my technical proficiency while making meaningful contributions to Direct Line Groups' projects and objectives.

Coding has always been a dream of mine to pursue and I am hopeful that with Direct Line Group I may be able to turn my passion and hobby into a career. My coding experience ranges from batch files I was using to launch crypto mining rigs. The file would give multiple options, such as choice of coin as well as choice of which mining program you wanted to use, then would go on to launch said rig with the parameters you wanted for example the wallet you wanted to mine into and the node you wished to mine from.

I have also worked with HTML and Javascript, using javascript to script logical functions such as IF statements and FOR Loops to manipulate HTML and CSS to create a highly refined and accessible UI for the website I created during my time with the Lower Saxony Hair Academy. This included adding Alt text in HTML tags and @Media conditionals which allowed for accessible use from varying devices. In my spare time I have learnt to use Microsoft Visual Studio which allows for the creation of windows and mobile applications. This ranges from creating login forms for a website which allows for inputting username and a protected password, to creating an application to allow for multiple data entries for calculation of distances and times as well as directions to a specific location using compass bearings.

Hobbies

My Hobbies include Gaming, recently I have been playing a Game called Grey Hack. While it isn't entirely code accurate it uses a language called Greyscript which is a custom made derivative of Miniscript. Miniscript being based on Python and LUA, the game also allows for coding of your own websites using reduced versions of JS and CSS. It is a very intuitive game which offers a hands on simulation which includes but is not limited to creating scripts that can both encrypt and un-encrypt information. It also gives you the freedom to set up and create your own repository servers to get any of the programs you need via command prompt. The game allows for use of reverse shell, where you would set up a shell server for your target to connect to, then would send them the Rshell file via email under the guise of being a fun game or something similar, then once they have opened the file the reverse shell is complete and you have full access to their system.

I am also an avid self taught guitarist, playing both electric guitar and acoustic guitar.
