I worked as a dedicated porter during weekends, and when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, I continued to serve as a key worker, ensuring the delivery of essential and non-essential items. Following the final lockdown, a fortuitous opportunity presented itself, leading me to switch jobs and join my previous employer as they established a new franchise. This experience allowed me to work across various locations and relish the diversity of tasks until the conclusion of our contract.
Subsequently, I ventured into self-employment, which provided valuable insights, but ultimately I have come to realize that I seek the stability and growth opportunities that a salaried position offers. My aim is to be part of a company that encourages career advancement and nurtures personal development, aligning with my aspirations for a secure and fulfilling future.
I've have worked all around the uk installing panels on roof tops and in solar farms from small arrays to huge solar farms.
My work involved me working in a team and one particular job i was given the opportunity to supervise a group of about 15 people to install the solar panels on top of the metro centre in Manchester.
Within my job role i and my team had to assemble all the frames and assemble and adjust to the relevant size to complete the tray work, the panels then had to be connected and this is where i supported my team and i individually wired the system into the building.
As a porter i had to deliver small and large goods to people such as fridges, freezers, dishwashers and also flat pack furniture.
A large amount of the job was speaking to customers and making sure they are satisfied with the item received and the way the delivery was carried out and processing there delivery's correctly using the HHT ( Hand Held Tablet).
I was part of the platinum crew where i had been trained to assemble items and to install appliances.
My hobbies outside of work enclude Gaming, Mountain biking, collecting POP figures, PC building and content creation (tiktok, youtube)
