As a part of the Richard Taunton's CTEC Sport curriculum, I found the placement with Superstar Sports so that I could work on my social and coaching skills by working as an assistant P.E. teacher. This meant that as well as making sure that the session that the superior had planned would run smoothly, they also allowed for me to plan out a session of my own for the younger kids of the school to participate in. This included the responsibilities of health and safety checks such as a risk assessment, and also being able to understand and handle situations in the correct manor

Assisted with preparations for motorsports events by ensuring venue readiness before and after events.
Arrived early to set up audience railings, cones, official posts, racer timer, and safety tyres.
Collaborated with team to confirm all equipment was in place prior to event commencement.

Within this placement I learnt how to greet customers accordingly, work around machinery and cooking equipment whilst upholding proper hygiene and food etiquette. I was not able to maintain this job for as long as I would have to had liked as college required a vast majority of my time and I wanted to be able to focus on my future that I did not see inside the establishment.

• Conducted daily inventory checks to avoid stock shortages during peak hours.
• Mitigated customer complaints swiftly for improved relations and retention.
• Tackled complex seating arrangements during busy periods without compromising on service quality.
• Handled telephone enquiries professionally, thus enhancing the establishment's reputation.

I have a variety of responsibilities from working in Greene King's White Rabbit. One of the main things I feel like I have learnt from my time in hospitality is the correct team dynamic, being able to communicate within the team effectively to work toward a common goal. Greene King has also given me the experience in certain fields from working behind a bar and serving customers drinks to working in the kitchen, helping with preparation, making deserts or even checking and arranging the stock, for both instances, kitchen and front of house.

It may be standard but I also have kept hygiene in the work place in high regards, additionally, keeping the company's policies in check and always making sure the workplace is clean and safe for both the colleagues and customers.
