Tunbridge Wells

Summary

I am currently working as a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer at a site facilitating both private and NHS patients. I have worked consistently four almost ten years since graduating from University and feel as though working at both Private and NHS sites has helped me to develop at both a professional and personal level. I pride myself upon being a pro-active, friendly individual who possesses good communication skills. I am confident in my ability to work both competently and efficiently, whilst providing a high level of patient care, whether working autonomously or as part of a team and have demonstrated this throughout my time spent working within an increasingly busy department. I am regularly involved in carrying out a number of procedures within CT such as CT guided interventional procedures, Virtual Colonoscopies and Cardiac angiograms. I am also MRI competent and I have found that it is a modality that particularly interests me and one in which I wish to continue to gain experience in, particularly in Cardiac imaging. I am involved in the out of hours rota for each modality which includes weekend. I believe that since working within the NHS I have built up a wealth of experience and a varied skill set but feel that I am now ready for a fresh challenge and feel as though Nuffield Health's values of providing a service user led approach are values in which I pride myself upon and very much strive to achieve.

As well as my clinical duties i am also actively involved in ensuring that clinical audits, Quality Assurance and patient vetting are all carried out to ensure an optimum level of service is provided as well as coordinating patient pathways through the department
