  • Completed a week-long placement at JD sports at the marketing department at the headquarters in Bury
  • Here I learnt about their campaign strategies including the influencer and marketing teams, the 2024 Christmas campaign, JD’s back to school campaign, the 2024/5 premier league sponsorship deals and outdoor media, all of which gave valuable insights into marketing strategies of a successful sporting brand
  • Prepared detailed reports on marketing campaign outcomes.

Intern

Tameside Social Services
  • Completed a week-long placement at Tameside’s social services visiting a range of 5 different departments in the time spent there.
  • I was able to learn from these situations as I was encouraged to be involved in problem solving discussions in high pressure situations to devise coordinated responses

Volunteer

Trussell Trust
  • Volunteered over a three-year period at a Trussell Trust foodbank centre
  • Encountered many dilemmas which needed problem solving with clients, for example, invalid referral vouchers or shortages of certain food items
  • As an individual volunteer I was responsible for resolving these issues, which helped me to show my confidence whilst making important decisions quickly and effectively
