Senior Championship Manager

Since January 2023, I have taken on the role of Senior Championship Manager, overseeing the operations of some of the largest and most high-profile tournaments on the DP World Tour. In this capacity, I have been instrumental in driving operational improvements and enhancing the experience for spectators, stakeholders, and players alike.


  • Genesis Scottish Open - Led the operational improvements for two editions of the Genesis Scottish Open, implementing positive changes that significantly enhanced the spectator, stakeholder , and player experiences.
  • Chaired multi-agency meetings with local councils, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Oversaw the creation of large stadium hole on the 6th Hole using infrastructure, elevating the event's overall presentation and experience.
  • Played a key role in fostering a successful collaboration with the PGA Tour.
  • Horizon Irish Open - Heavily involved in planning and organizing the Horizon Irish Open at The K Club, which attracted around 20,000 spectators per day.
  • Spearheaded the identification and implementation of a new park-and-ride site, improving transportation logistics for visitors.

Championship Manager

Following a successful Ryder Cup, I was promoted to Championship Manager, where I took on more responsibility and began leading tournament operations. I worked on a variety of prestigious events, further honing my skills in logistics, supplier management, and team leadership.

  • Led the operations of the British Masters at Hillside and at Close House, overseeing all aspects of tournament delivery.
  • Managed the Scandinavian Mixed at Hills, working closely with the local staging company to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
  • During the pandemic, I was furloughed for three months, but returned to lead the British Masters at Close House—the first tournament post-Covid. My leadership and dedication were evident as I successfully oversaw the operations of the tournament, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
  • Led the operations of four additional tournaments during the Covid period, adapting to new health and safety protocols and ensuring each event was delivered successfully.
  • Managed external staging partners , including MOC and WeDoSports in Sweden and France, providing guidance and support on event logistics to help them take on future events independently.
  • Developed and refined my budget management skills, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and controlling costs, through procurement and cost savings.


Assistant Championship Manager

During my time as an Assistant Championship Manager, I worked on several high-profile and large-scale golf events, gradually taking on more responsibility and playing a key role in operations and event delivery


  • Worked on the revival of the British Masters at Woburn and the subsequent tournaments at The Grove and Close House.
  • Supported on Senior Opens at renowned courses including Sunningdale, Royal Porthcawl, and Carnoustie.
  • Contributed to 3 DP World Tour Championships in Dubai, 3 BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth, and 2 Open de France tournaments at Le Golf National.
  • Played a significant role in the Ryder Cup 2018.
  • Supplier and Contractor Management : Took on more responsibility in managing large-scale suppliers and contractors.
  • Event Planning and Operations : Became more involved in the planning side of operations, actively contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Relationship Building: Developed and nurtured long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
