I started CR Secure out of a genuine passion for business, technology, and building something of my own. I invested most of my savings into getting it off the ground not out of recklessness, but because I’m young, driven, and willing to take calculated risks while I have the freedom to do so.

CR Secure provides CCTV installation, intruder alarm systems, facilities management, security checkups and maintenance, and leak detection services. I’ve learnt a lot through the process of launching and delivering these services, and it’s given me a strong understanding of both the technical and operational sides of small business.

At the same time, I’ve realised that the hands-on installation and construction environments aren’t where I see my long-term future. The restrictive working hours, physical conditions, and the nature of the work itself helped me understand the type of environment I want to grow in something more strategic, scalable, and aligned with my strengths in business, communication, and problem-solving.

I’m continuing to run CR Secure as a source of income while I look for an opportunity that allows me to fully channel my energy into the right direction. When that moment comes, the business will either be scaled in a different way or liquidated so I can commit myself fully to the next chapter.

I joined TID under the expectation of moving into a sales-oriented role, but after several months of unclear communication and shifting plans, I was reassigned to the One Leadenhall project a newly constructed 33-storey building where the team handled all cabling and containment. Although this wasn’t the path I was initially hired for, I committed fully and gained valuable hands-on experience in containment installation, cable management, and on-site construction processes. The role pushed me to strengthen areas I hadn’t previously focused on and gave me practical skills that will stay with me.

As time went on, the ambiguity around progression remained, even as the company encouraged me to stay and offered incentives to keep me on the project. Ultimately, I decided to move on because the structure of the work especially the long travel hours and lack of clarity in direction didn’t align with how seriously I treat my time and long-term development. I’m grateful for what I learnt there, but I knew it was the right moment to pursue opportunities with clearer growth and alignment.

I started a service editing social media reels for businesses and personal brands. Finding the leads myself i managed to get a few clients over this period of time. It consisted of a lot of outreaching, selling and managing the editors. Although it is not what i want to do it was a fun venture and I learnt a lot from it.

I started as a Kitchen Porter (KP) at The Runt In Tun in October 2021 and worked my way up to Supervisor at 17. During my time there, I took on increasing responsibilities, including: Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with local customers from the ground up. Training staff across both front and back of house operations. Planning and managing events to ensure smooth execution. Overseeing the premises while living in and taking care of operations in the absence of the owners. Handling orders for beer, spirits, and food when necessary. This role allowed me to develop strong leadership, problem solving, and organisational skills, all of which I brought into every role I took on.
