I have enjoyed being part of a boxing club for several years. Due to injury, this is not something I currently do but want to get back to. I am a member of my local gym as I feel that keeping fit and active keeps me grounded. I have ADHD but this is controlled by medication and this means that I have great attention to detail and will work hard in everything I am asked to do.
I have a diagnosis of ADHD, however I do not see this as a bad thing. In fact, this means I work extremely hard and focus well on tasks. I am medicated and this means that I can remain calm, make sensible decisions and contribute to an active working environment, often seeing the bigger picture when others can't. It also means I am a great communicator and thrive well under pressure.
