Josh Ferguson

Competent and professional Electronics Technician with 6 years military experience within electrical engineering and Electronics. I have worked within various units within HM Armed Forces having experience working with Landrover, Man SV (6,9,15 tonne), wheeled based platforms such as Jackal and Mastiff as well as tracked vehicles such as Bulldog and Warrior.

During my time with the Military I was promoted twice to the rank of Corporal were by I managed a department of 12 individuals tasked to service, repair and maintain a fleet of 64 vehicles to achieve a constant availability above 90%. This has given me experience working from the most junior member of a team to the most senior allowing me to develop personal and professional attributes and skills as mentioned in the skills section of my CV.

This has also enabled me to have a varied and extensive insight to working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic and professional team in all working environments. Development of personal and professional skills was highly encouraged and very much what I strive to achieve and has therefore helped me to be a dynamic problem solver and to constantly improve my practice in what ever job or task I am aligned to.

As well as working as an Electronics Technician I have had 6 years experience developing skills as a soldier which has helped me develop other attributes such as professionalism, working to time constraints, working in unfavourable and harsh environments and in high stress situations, discipline to achieve a high standard of work, personal and professional integrity as well as commitment to any task or work I am allocated.
