During this time, I have worked ad-hoc for several families providing evening babysitting. I have led bedtime routines including personal care, reading stories and settling to sleep following parental wishes. These roles have required me to tidy and maintain children’s play areas and bedrooms demonstrating my use of initiative.

Working at Tesco has provided me with skills such as the importance of working as a team, being punctual and managing customer requests in a professional manner, I have shown to be a reliable and valued employee who trains new employees. I am very flexible and regularly do overtime when my manager has asked. I have been offered a promotion to become a shift leader due to my reliability, work ethic and kind behaviour with customers.

As a care assistant, I helped with personal care tasks, promoting hygiene and cleanliness for residents while respecting their privacy and dignity. I also learned invaluable life skills and knowledge, I learnt skills such as delivering effective communication, empowerment and negotiation. This experience also provided me with skills such as empathy, resilience and problem solving which I now use to great effect within my practice.

While waitressing i accommodated special dietary requests, enhancing customer dining experience, Assisted in food preparation, resulting in timely service delivery, Liaised with kitchen staff for prompt order delivery to customers, Explained dish components clearly to inform customers' decisions, Helped reduce waiting times by swiftly clearing tables after use. and Remained calm under pressure, ensuring better performance during peak hours.
