I am an Ex-RAF Technical Consulting Engineer for one of the world leaders in IT and networking, Cisco Systems. I have experience of working in both domestic and international military bases in both the UK and Cyprus. I have developed an advanced skillset in project management and IT solutions, enabling me to work in challenging and demanding environments. Problem solving and being analytical are competencies I am well-equipped with and bring to both individual and teamwork.   • Playing an instrumental role in the set up of Cisco's first Secure Technical Assistance Centre in the United Kingdom - a new, secure facility to allow clients to upload sensitive data to allow engineers to troubleshoot their faults. This has consisted of liaising with external parties, sticking to timeframes and holding regular meetings within the team and outside individuals to ensure we are constantly working towards our goal.

  • Played a crucial role in one of RAF Benson's biggest IT projects and facilitated a move that allowed Members of Parliament and members of the Royal Family to fly out of Benson. This project allowed me to work with important stakeholders both internally to RAF Benson and externally. Timelines and the high demands of our customers were met to such a high standard, our small team of four were included on the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
  • Led an organisation-wide IT programme, rolling out high-security laptops to 2000 users on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. This involved managing a team of six individuals and ensuring appropriate training to all users was given. This consisted of liaising with all different departments of the station and prioritisation.
  • Selected by my senior management to lead the training and development of the team by organising and delivering ‘Train the Trainer’. I am a reliable individual and this demonstrates a high level of trust and confidence in my abilities by senior management.

Sport & Travel

Enthusiastic about sport, I used to represent the Station football team. Post-military, I have maintained a good level of fitness and enjoy going on hikes or doing a gym workout.
I’m also a big Wrexham AFC fan!
I gain great enjoyment experiencing different cultures and spent four weeks travelling Europe. I also spent four weeks along the east coast of America and Florida.
