- I read a book by an English lady who went to Brazil and massively reduced the street children issue over there so I wrote to the charity and asked if I could go to help them in the 8 orphanages in Belo Horizontal
- These children had experienced serious trauma from a very young age
- In one of orphanages the children would fight with each as they had come straight from the streets to there
- The other 7 were completely peaceful, we spent most of the time just playing football or card games
- It was a life changing experience.
