Joseph KERIN

Passionate and dedicated Pharmacist with over 25 years experience with a track record of facilitating and leading change both in pharmacy and the wider health economy. History of working in all sectors of the NHS and with the private sector. Currently Head of Pharmacy for Specialised Commissioning in the East driving change, strategy and cost effectiveness through support, engagement and analysis both regionally and nationally. Highlights including the success of the lenalidomide rebate challenge (circa £35m nationally back into Specialised Commissioning) and currently leading on the largest NHS Aseptics plan covering the whole region amongst other achievements for both the patient and the taxpayer.

• I enjoy socialising and networking as well going to the theatre, concerts and spending time with my children. I love exploring new countries, cultures and experiences. I also enjoy skiing and a bit of football as well as walking and am most content doing some gardening and a bit of charity work. I enjoy watching films, reading and especially quizzes, puzzles and mind challenges and relax by trying to play the guitar and piano.
