Josef Upson

During my time working inside of the main plant building where all the turkeys are processed, I was doing all sorts of jobs. Such as; General maintenance, electrical engineering, forklift operating, cleaning, sorting out stock, counting stock, heavy lifting and much more. This job has given me even more skill sets that will prove to be very useful in most jobs out there.

During my time at Kelly Turkeys I had the role of Farm Worker. Within this role I had to look after and manage thousands of turkeys and check all of their welfare. This consisted of checking that they had adequate amounts of food in their feeders and the same with water. I also had to check all of their physical health. It was long hour days full of hard work. This job gave me skills that would come in handy at any workplace such as heavy lifting, doing jobs that others aren't keen on and much more.
