In this role I worked 4.5 days per week as a GIS Consultant for Southern Water and 0.5 days per week on internal projects:

• Assisted with Southern Water's migration from legacy BAU Autodesk systems to ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Handled ticket desk incidents, including FME data conversions and debugging web apps built with FME Flow, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Dashboards.
• Oversaw SW's Compliance Survey 123 Connect project from late development to AIS, leveraging Survey123 Connect, FME Form, FME Flow, JavaScript, and Python.
• Implemented a solution to move media uploaded by site technicians from ArcGIS Enterprise to SharePoint using a combination of FME and Python.
• Supported the overhaul of Southern Water’s legacy Waste Water Alarms Application to visually represent pumping stations alarms status, this was achieved using FME workspaces connected to Oracle and live data in Experience Builder (FME Form, FME Flow, ExB, SQL)
• Fixed critical bugs in the Wastewater/Pollutions Dashboard, addressing database connectivity and GMT/BST time discrepancies.
• Developed a web-scraping tool utilising FME and Python, that extracted the most up to date LR cadastral data from government sources at monthly intervals. This replaced the old manual process which used to require a day of surveyor time.
• Assisted the wider GIS team in the case of outages and incidents to help bring back services quickly, typically done through a combination of observing ArcGIS Monitor, FME Flow and SolarWinds logs.
• Achieved FME Certified Pro status during my first month.
• Supported new GIS users on Southern Water’s ESRI-backed GeoMap application, administering accounts and providing training.
• Assisted with promotional activities for Avineon-Tensing on occasion including supporting the Belfast AGI event and contributing material to Tensing's FME UK Tour.

• Crafted professional maps in ArcGIS Pro including land registry compliant site plans, referencing plans, ground investigation plans, access plans and drivetime maps.
• Executed data analysis and conversions using FME and Python, leveraging Python for requirements outside of FME's capabilities.
• Created site searching tools in FME to identify the best locations for structures based on client search criteria (biogas plants, solar panels etc.).
• Developed an FME Flow application that could automate the generation of W3W points and access route data for a major National Grid project.
• Oversaw FG's land referencing and spatial analyses for major projects like Anglian Water's Strategic Resource Options (SRO) scheme. Identified affected landowners, pinpointed special category land within search areas using FME, and conducted proximity analyses using a combination of FME and ArcGIS Pro.
• Delivered clear demonstrations to stakeholders, fostering trust through effective communication.
• Created bespoke Survey 123 forms for ground teams working on a major national grid project, utilising QR codes, web maps and W3W.
• Performed analyses on rivers for MLP (Mainline Pipelines) to assess the potential impact of erosion on pipeline integrity.
• Developed FME apps to assist team members and non-GIS colleagues in performing high-level analysis.
• Produced a variety of Python scripts to help automate mailmerges for landowner engagement.

• During my 6-year tenure as an assistant chef, my responsibilities typically involved a combination of preparing food, running the deserts/starter sections, and training new kitchen porters so that they were made to feel welcome.
• This role helped improve my work ethic, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills in what was a high-pressure environment.
• This role was maintained whilst completing my academic studies.
