Within my time at BDS Global, I have became an advanced level planner with a mass of experience, and a vast skill-set.

3 Main Projects worked on:

Virgin Media Infill project - Producing to spec, CDM compliant and cost efficient FTTP designs of up to 700 premises at a time. To date, I have individually planned service to over 60,000 premises across the UK.

Virgin Media Business Project - Designing and delivering high-speed, diverse connections to Virgin Medias large scale customers, such as schools and hospitals.

Virgin Media As-Built Project - This project was a blank canvas presented to us by VM. I was 1 of 4 people that brought this project up from scratch. Key member of the team who developed ideas to create an efficient and profitable project. Utilised and fine-tuned cloud-based tools to facilitate site-to-office delivery. Massively developed my understanding of on-site engineering/physical build, as well as surveying.

Further Experience and Responsibilities

• Ability to use PIA in day to day planning, and a vast understanding of the OpenReach Network. Within PIA, I have the ability to prepare Network Adjustments, Missing Inventory Requests, NOIs etc.
• A body in the Quality Control team, ensuring colleagues work is up to industry standard, prior to delivery to the client.
• Assisting Engineering Teams on site in digesting project plans and providing support from a specification and design perspective.
• Day-to-day consideration of local factors when planning. Eg, conservation areas, working around recent highways works (S58s), discreet street furniture placement, TPOs, generic liaising/relationship building with Local Authorities.
• Delivering training and buddy support as an experienced and efficient Planner with large knowledge base.
• One of a small group trusted to undertake large scale redesigns of projects affected by client-led changes.

• Created a positive work environment, resulting in higher employee morale. Achieving a management position at such a young age gave me a unique style/approach that had great effect on the team.
• Monitored sales performance regularly adjusting strategies as required, driving the team towards key KPI targets.
• Assisted in recruitment process to build an effective workforce.
• Provided excellent customer service leading to repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Driving the absolute highest standard in regards to pet care in store, within an industry that comes with large pressures and standards to meet.

These customer facing, part-time roles were worked whilst balancing GCSE and Sixth Form studies. Majority of shifts were completed after school, or on weekends. This helps display my hard work ethic and dedication to mastering basic, but essential, workplace skills from an early age.
