I have been the Senior Engineer on the Veolia District Heating Project since its inception managing all of the engineering functions within the project.
Managing and Mentoring of Junior Engineers and Site Engineers.
Management/Implementation of Temporary works throughout the project as the sole Temporary Works Coordinator.
Management of the Temporary works supervisors, ensuring compliance with policy and legislation.
Undertaking the role of Existing Services Coordinator ensuring the needs of the project are met from a standpoint of safety, liaising and planning with the asset owners.
Management of the daily works on site, looking ahead to capture issues prior to commencement of works, when issues occur taking a solutions driven approach to negate the issue.
Production of ITPS & Technical Submittals for the Project
Building a strong relationship and assisting the Client working together as a team to achieve the results we require.
Overseeing the Quality Assurance & As-built drawings produced by the engineering team to ensure the specifications and design criteria has been met.

Slough Data Centre and 132kv Grid Route, Berkshire
01.2022 - 06.2024
At the beginning of the Slough 132kv Grid Route project I was promoted to the role of Site Engineer.
I was the sole engineer on the project managing all aspects of the engineering; inclusive of Quality Assurance, Design Management, As laid Drawing and compliance with the NJUG and HAUC Specifications
ESCO responsibilities, issuing Permits to break ground, liasing and planning upcoming works with our utility surveying contractors and utility providers to ensure compliance with HSG47 and GS6
I worked closely with and garnered a strong relationship with the client, ensuring the requirements and needs were met. In turn a mutual respect was built allowing the project to run in a smoother fashion.

Promotion to Senior Engineer - 01/07/2023
In July 2023 I was promoted to Senior Engineer taking on the Slough Data Centre Project as well as my continued involvement in the Slough 132kv Grid Route.
As a Senior Engineer I had the further responsibility managing teams of engineers on both major projects as well as becoming temporary works coordinator for both projects.
Management of all setting out, Design issues and RFI's
Design drawings on AutoCAD for the governing councils for easements and positioning of the 132kv cabling
Supporting the Directional Drilling designer with key information for submittal to highways England
Undertaking HDD under the M25 with the Directional drilling team

In March 2024 I have also been placed on another major project where I am in charge of the Engineering, this project is in the trial hole phase at the moment awaiting main works.

Since joining Blu-3 in the role of Junior site engineer I have adapted to several different types of engineering such as; Civils, S278 Works and Structural, my main job role was conducting most of the setting out over various sections of work also providing all of the Quality Assurance paperwork for the client to sign off; my key responsibilities are as listed below.
Setting out of all types of works including Kerb and edgings, Paving works, Drainage including manholes, interceptors, deep drainage runs and Gullies, full road build up and overlay, various services including HV, district heating, Virgin media and BT, structural works such as capping beams and upstand walls, piling and sheet piles.
Undertaking full as-builts of everything that had been installed and drawing them up on CAD and uploading them to conject
Filling and filing QA paperwork via Conject and fieldview
Updating the drawings register as design tended to change
Making sure the site was safe and the RAMS were being followed
Giving tool box talks to the operatives
Planning works to keep to the schedule
Take offs for ducting, drainage and materials
Establishing control for further works
Cubing concrete for the various pours on site as well as slump tests and cube tests
At the end of the Battersea Power Station Project I was promoted to the position of site engineer

At the start of the London Southend project i was given further responsibilities this included;
Increased involvement with the planning of works to be carried out.
Compling drawings and overseeing various different types of works.
In the first few weeks I set out for the installation of the Asphalt plant and added additional control further increasing the precision of our setting out.
The project entailed a thorough survey of existing surface course.
Full survey of existing Aeronautical ground lighting to be set back out ensuring their positions were correct.
Full survey of Existing paint markings and adjustments to be made to coincide with EASA regulations.
Raising AGL pits and Drainage pits and a survey of new cover levels.

In the role of Junior Engineer I initially started to learn from the engineers I was working with. As I progressed I was tasked with Setting out and Surveying to assist the engineers further, overseeing different aspects of the project this includes; External work services such as.
