Taylor's Intervarsity Mooting Competition

1st Runner Up, 3rd Breaking Team

• This Moot Centered around three primary issues including the admissibility of evidence upon appeal, the Tort of Conspiracy and the assessment of exemplary damages.
• I primarily addressed the issue pertaining to the admissibility of evidence whereas my partner handled the remaining issues.




Cardiff University Law Society & Malaysian Society Speed Mooting Competition

2nd Best Speaker

• This Moot concerned the area of contract law, in particular the issues of the validity of an offer and acceptance.
• I primarily addressed the issue pertaining to revocation of the said offer.




Kuala Lumpur Bar - Lincoln's Inn Alumni Association of Malaysia | e-Moot Court Competition 2021

• Moot competition based on the landmark Malaysian case of Peguam Negara Malaysia v Malaysiakini Dot Com concerning third-party liability for contempt proceedings.
• I was the Lead Oralist and I also worked to prepare written submissions for both Applicant and Respondent sides.




KPUM Peek-A-Moot Novice Moot Simulation

• This Moot was centered in an Arbitration setting with regard to trade and commercial law and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
• I addressed issues pertaining to Article 35 of the CISG.




OUP & the ICCA Moot

• National level Moot regarding the issue of third party misrepresentation liability.
• Represented Cardiff University as lead oralist.




Cardiff University Law Society First Year Speed Moot

• Moot competition for first year students concerning the issues of the distinction between an offer and an invitation to treat.
• Judged all rounds and offered valuable feedback to the mooters.

• Varsity debate tournament with participants from top universities throughout the UK where competitors are assessed on their coherence in argumentation.
• Debated several motion themes ranging from International relations to governmental policy.

Pre-Semi Finalist, 10th Breaking Team Open Category

• National-level varsity debate tournament with participants from several top universities of Malaysia where competitors are assessed on their coherence in argument making as well as public speaking skills.
• Debated several motion themes ranging from Economics, Social Justice and International Relations.




International Scholastic Debating Championship 2022
Semi-Finals Judge Junior Category

• Debate Tournament held in the World Scholar's Cup (WSC) format for Debaters aged 11-18.
• Judges are ranked on the quality of feedback and justification of their decision of the debate by the debaters.
