Having been provided with a small window of opportunity, I was able to take a career break and travel around Europe for a year with my wife and daughter before she started school. We returned early to care for my father who subsequently passed away. This led to me becoming my mother’s full time carer and also assisting in selling her property and downsizing! I am now in a position to focus on myself and start my career again.

• Delivering soft drink products to hospitality industry venues throughout Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
• Responsible for maintaining and servicing the dispensing machines.
• Ensuring the products were delivered in a timely manner.

• Delivering time sensitive parts and financial documents securely to businesses and offices throughout the South West, in and out of office hours.
• Organising mail and parcels for delivery. Delivering and collecting post from customers and offices.

• Loading/organising van to deliver and collect Ikea products accurately to and from customer sites, within a specified time window.
• Assemble flat pack and plumb products in when needed.

• Mountain bike trail building and repair work. Grounds work and landscaping.

• Delivering and collecting cash/coin accurately.
• Checking consignments and ensuring accuracy and efficient loading/unloading at branches and other secure areas.
• Being confident working to stringent procedures within a highly regulated environment.
