• Acted as a Tier 2 support team receiving escalation requests from Tier 1 for iland “as-a-service” product offerings, including IaaS, DRaaS, BaaS, and others Effectively troubleshooted complex infrastructure issues to resolution, meeting ticket resolution metrics Identify, escalation and collaborate with external 3rd party vendors as needed for incident/problem resolution.

In my role at SKY I had responsibilities in design/engineering, implementation, and support of the Virtualisation estate

Responsible for collecting the requirements for a new project (i.e Storage, networks, firewalls) and the design and implementation of new VMware technologies, i.e VSAN, Replication and NSX -V and Instrumental in the delivery of large-scale projects across the UK and Europe, of note

• Large scale VMware data center consolidation project Responsible for planning and implementing processes for migrating a large VMware estate between two geographically dispersed data centers
• SKY Europe – Implementation of vSphere Replication and DR for SAP.

• Initially specializing in VMWare, oversaw the successful upgrade from ESX 4.0 to ESXi 5.0 of approximately 250 hosts, I was responsible for the design (high level and low level) and deployment of System Center 2012 all designs ratified by Microsoft and HP.

• Instrumental in the successful design and implementation of VMware ESX2.5
• I also designed and successfully implemented a Public Key Infrastructure for the force.
