Summary

My work background is based in two main areas. After leaving school in 1986 I began an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic qualifying in 1990. I continued in this role until 2002. I worked primarily within main dealer settings but mainly worked for United Cooperative responsible for maintaining a fleet of over 100 funeral limousines and hearses. I became depot manager in 1999. I left the motor trade in 2002 and joined Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service as an operational firefighter. Whilst employed I gained driving qualifications and also advanced trauma technician qualifications.
