• This role included serving customers from behind the bar, but also table service when food was ordered.

• Within this role I primarily worked behind the bar of this busy local pub, occasionally serving food.

• This short-term contract involved selling accident insurance

• Within this role I developed an understanding of the insurance products on offer and further developed my customer service and sales skills.

• The post involved selling Sky Protect (Sky’s warranty package) to current customers
• This was achieved through the ‘warm calling’ of individuals already utilising Sky products
• I regularly achieved the position of top seller, within my team and on the floor, and received numerous bonuses and awards.

• Within this short-term contract I assisted Tobias Dickins, and his colleagues, within their carpentry business
• This involved the use of a range of tools and assisting with the administrative side of the business
• It was also my responsibility to sell the company to current and potential clients; within this role I began to develop an interest in achieving a permanent role in sales.

• This role involved communicating with customers to ensure that the facilities were used safely, and assisting those who were having difficulties while in the pool
• These duties enabled me to develop extensive skills in communicating with a range of customers
• For example I regularly had to explain, often complicated, safety regulations to members of the public.

• My post as the Hotel’s Gym Instructor involved me showing guests and regular users of the gym how to safely use the equipment and facilities, and ensuring that all the equipment was ready for use.

• As a Customer Service and Sales Assistant it was my duties included fielding queries from customers, making sales and working as part of the box office team.

• During this time I worked as a basketball coach with the Nottingham Knights Basketball Club; I was also a paid member of their A team.

• Throughout 2001-2004 I worked on a number of short-term contracts including administrative duties for a recruitment agency, painting and decorating, and sports coach
• I also travelled extensively around Africa.
