I have had a broad work experience working as front of house staff that has taught me a substantial amount about the job roles I've undertaken within the environments I have worked. I have worked as a bartender, food and drinks runner and as a waiter. I have also worked as a specialised cleaner in the Front of House during the Covid-19 pandemic. These roles allowed me to get a greater understanding of how a restaurant should run properly and that attention to detail is key, in every role undertaken. Moreover it has allowed me to work within a large team with both Front and Back room staff in which I have learned how to work effectively and efficiently in a team under pressure but also to carry out my individual roles and tasks without burdening any other staff members.
Also have prior experience working in a Kitchen as Kitchen porter where I washed and cleaned all Kitchen utensils and cookware, and stacked and tidied after chefs in order so that the kitchen may run smoothly and that the food maintains the highest quality with the chefs not suffering from missing or dirty cookware, slowing down the hole back rooms process.
Furthermore, I have experience as an assistant sports and activities coach for children during the school holidays where I was running group activities and supervising the children during meal times and most of the day.this responsibility helped me gain more confidence in myself as a leader and a supervisor.
Lastly I have been employed by Serco as Lifeguard at Hinksey Outdoor Pool from April 2025 and currently being trained up into a step up Duty Manager having done shadow shifts and a DM shift already.
