Summary

Jon has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality business and has been managing pubs since being appointed General Manager of The King William IV in Hampstead in 1997 working for Regent Inns.

Jon has run several high-profile pubs and clubs over the years, including historic Black Cap in Camden Town for Bass/Mitchell & Butler, and was also one of the team who launched and managed West 5 Bar in Ealing, A pub and nightclub which is still going strong 24 years later.

Jon has worked for Fullers since 2012, and has been General Manager of The Castle Inn for 9 years

Jon is well known, as being the face of The Castle Inn and has forged good connections with both locals, and the students and lecturers at UWL. Even continuing to host The Castle Inn’s weekly Quiz over Zoom during Lockdown for all the lecturers. He has on several occasions been a guest lecturer for Student projects.


Jon has a passion for customer service which he instils in his team, and hosts both the busy weekly Quiz night, which he writes himself, and the Castles now famous Sunday night Spotlight Karaoke.

  • Building and designing what was then Fullers only “Build-your-own Burger” menu, a concept that has now been successfully rolled out to various other pubs.
