- Maintained day-to-day network operations, including monitoring network performance and security management.
- Built and tested physical networking kit including routers, switches, wireless access points and type one encryption devices to be deployed on short notice.
- Remotely managed and configured devices on Cisco Unified Call Manager, these devices included the latest models of Cisco Video Teleconference devices and phones.
- One of the projects leads to roll out a new SD wireless network using Ubiquiti Unifi. So far this has greatly improved the current Wi-Fi network performance and security.
- Was chosen to deploy to support exercises and operations abroad, setting up different networking devices/IT equipment and providing 24/7 support.
- One of the main engineers chosen to support deployed users on operations with a 24/7 on short notice pager. Giving technical advice and troubleshooting.
