I started at Ford and Slater at the age of 16 and was straight out of school on a Apprenticeship . I have now completed my 3 year Apprenticeship at Ford and Slater and have completed my End point assessment and passed this with a grade of distinction giving me a level 3 HGV Technician qualification . Over my 3 years of working for Ford and slater I have expanded my knowledge massively in diagnosis , electrical faults and repair . I have also gained a real strong understanding in the maintenance and inspection of Heavy goods vehicles and while working at Ford and Slater I have carried out inspections to DVSA standards making sure that the vehicles are safe and comply with all the laws and legislations . One of my strong points from the 3 years I have had is finding and fixing electrical faults and I find this very interesting and like the challenge that electrical faults have . While being at Ford and Slater I was also able to keep to time frames that where set for jobs and was always trying to find ways to make myself more efficient at my Job .
