I joined Springer Nature as a Success project Manager. This position was a 6 month contract, that extended to 14months.

• During my current contract, I have navigated the role of mediator, managed competing demands, negotiated feature requests and coordinated a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones
• This was achieved through both virtual and in-person workshops - where I maintained professionalism and composure throughout.
• This effort resulted in the successful migration of multiple journals to a new platform, transforming what initially appeared as a fragile situation into a seamless transition
• My approach seamlessly integrated Product enhancements, utilising Project methodologies, Delivery of new features within specified time and Business Relationship Management, showcasing a comprehensive skill set essential for our project's success
• I also established constructive relationships with our Senior Executives, ensuring a harmonious collaboration that supported our strategic objectives
• This collaborative effort not only ensured the success of the migration project, but also underscored my commitment to advancing our company's goals.

• Change underlying platform suppliers to our Replica e-editions - The objective was to migrate live titles to a new 3rd party provider
• Delivering digital apps to the Apple App Store and Google stores
• Maintained strong stakeholder management, kept transparency across the whole team including senior editorial, digital developers, our customers and customer support services
• Revenue £1.2m, Budget: £431k, with Savings £200k
• Created user stories and delivered stakeholder ideas from conception through to MVP
• The Go to market plan included revised pricing, value add-ons and strategic third party partnering
• Implemented a new subscription service and transferred knowledge to the customer services team
• Working with the customer research team, I converted the customer feedback to my third party UX design teams which resulted in achieving a simplified experience and provided support guides too
• Maintained a roadmap for the group editorial solution
• Decommissioned third parties maintained solutions to reduce costs and enabled content availability across the group
• Responsible for supporting and developing the Legal department's IPSO database.

• Project managed the primary migration of the Local World Swansea regional offices onto the ReachPLC group systems across multiple departments
• Budget £365k and delivered a £661k saving
• Migrated workflow processes and set up support processes to offshore outsourcing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.

• Collaborated with multiple internal support teams to standardise on AppleMac builds based on role requirements
• Delivered Business interruption processes and set up onsite premises for editorial and ad production
• Delivered a group-wide editorial solution to more than 2000 staff
• The solution changed the FTE roles and provided the business with enablers to implement new working practises
• Organised and lead onsite Discovery workshops to develop the Statement of Work (SOW), Use cases and delivery timeline
• The Suppliers developed the systems specified in the SOW and delivered the functionality in software drops for UAT by the Superusers
• The project completed within 4 years with a budget of £12m

• Reporting directly to the IT Director, I managed implementations of new systems, recommended software solutions and communicated change management processes to all necessary parties
• Prioritised decisions between timplementing the latest technology and the core business requirement
• Travelled between INUK had offices in Belfast and Dublin
• Upgraded the Ad Booking system, including new server infrastructure, and PC desktops
• INUK London Office Disaster recovery solution
• CIPHR - Shared Human Resources system for both London and Belfast
• Northern and Southern Ireland print sites PDF Digital workflow - Realised a saving of over £1m
• Digital preflight and automated workflow solution for Independent Regional titles
• QPS Editorial system upgrade for over 350 staff

• In late 1999 the Independent Newspapers split from Trinity Mirror
• The ALTERECO project was to move out of Canary Wharf to new premises at South Quay without interrupting newspaper production
• I was involved with the editorial team to implement a new QPS V2 editorial system to over 350 users
• Due to this success I was promoted to IT Project Manager.
