I joined Springer Nature as a Success project Manager. This position was a 6 month contract, that extended to 14months.

  • During my current contract, I have navigated the role of mediator, managed competing demands, negotiated feature requests and coordinated a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones
  • This was achieved through both virtual and in-person workshops - where I maintained professionalism and composure throughout.
  • This effort resulted in the successful migration of multiple journals to a new platform, transforming what initially appeared as a fragile situation into a seamless transition
  • My approach seamlessly integrated Product enhancements, utilising Project methodologies, Delivery of new features within specified time and Business Relationship Management, showcasing a comprehensive skill set essential for our project's success

  • Revenue £1.2m, Budget: £431k, with Savings £200k
  • Created user stories and delivered stakeholder ideas from conception through to MVP
  • The Go to market plan included revised pricing, value add-ons and strategic third party partnering
  • Implemented a new subscription service and transferred knowledge to the customer services team
  • Working with the customer research team, I converted the customer feedback to my third party UX design teams which resulted in achieving a simplified experience and provided support guides too

  • Decommissioned third parties maintained solutions to reduce costs and enabled content availability across the group

  • Due to this success I was promoted to IT Project Manager.
