My work as a therapist involved offering psychological interventions to Adults, Adolescents, Children and Families. The issues I addressed in therapy included: Depression, General Anxieties, Loss, grief and bereavement, Psycho-trauma and PTSD, Addictions, living positively with HIV, Surviving Cancer, Personality disorders, Gender Violence and Sexual Abuse, Eating Disorders, Gender Identity issues, Parenting problems, Divorce and Separation issues.
• I trained students at theDiploma and Degree level on counselling theories, counselling skills and contextual issues.
• I trained AMANI students in conducting scientific research and supervised their research projects.
• I supervised counsellor trainees in practicum and those at AMANI for internship.
