Over the past 10 years i have gained a wealth of experience in the electrical transmission sector on sites between Thurso and Swansea and everywhere in between, in my most recent role i have been tasked with overseeing the construction of containment and access scaffolding for the termination and jointing of HV cables ranging from 66kv to 400kv systems. Work has included cable sealing ends, joint bays, pylons, GIS Plugins, battery farms and various newly built and extended sub-stations. I have had the pleasure of working in various locations throughout the UK each bringing its own set of challenges and recently worked with clients such as Siemens Energy, Omexom, Prysmian, Power Systems, H&MV, Zenobe, Murphy Group and many more, to aid in completing projects safely and on time. Lately i have spent a large portion of my time carrying out inspections and have been preparing myself to take on a more senior role, given the proper training and experience i feel i could be an asset in the right environment.
