Since working for Derry's LTD I have vastly widened my skill set due to the nature of the role being more of an independent utility role which assisted the whole of the factory and with clients on site.

In this role I :

• Produced 2D working drawings to manufacturing standard using ALPHACAM, AUTOCAD, and FUSION 360
• Produced 3D working drawings to manufacturing standard using FUSION 360 and HEXAGON MANUFACTURING SUITE
• Prepared and Nested 2D and 3D models for Machining on 3 and 5 axis CNC machines, outputting NC code from Fusion and AlphaCAM.
• Created and Prepared models for machining on a Lathe machine using NESTO PEGASUS CAD CAM software
• Operated both CNC fabric and foam cutting machines with software such as CUTPILOT and RHINO 8 3D
• Set up tool and material library's for both 3 and 5 axis machines
• Collaborated with engineers, resulting in improved machine efficiency.
• Worked closely with a POST development team in the production of a custom made fusion 360 post for our SCM record 110 3 axis CNC
• in constant discussion with interior designers regarding current and upcoming projects.
• visit project sites regularly, to take Measurements and 3D scans/ photographs for upcoming projects and liaise with clients
• Manage a team of Joiners on the shop floor briefing them on projects weekly.
