I was working in the role for over 18 months, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing then Head of Ticketing. Since being given some space to put forward my ideas and seeing each project through from start to finish we saw a huge return in Hospitality sales.


This has mainly been achieved by identifying where we haven't been focusing on online revenue streams. Moving inventory around to platforms who are performing better for each event and adding new and inventive packages to increase sales.



Hospitality Ticketing & Operations support

  • Exclusively Client Managing the AO Arena Prime Seat Membership scheme. Over many years I have built up close relationships with the Members and deal with their varying needs. I created the events on a ticketing system, held their seats for them and make the performances available to be booked via an online platform.
  • Other duties include dealing with issues relating to memberships and tickets. Finding accounting errors for customers and trying to resolve issues relating to their tickets and membership.
  • I also client managed the members of our Premium all inclusive suite. Since the suite opened I forged excellent client relationships.
  • I recorded each member's show requests in excel and shared google sheets. This allows me to cross reference bookings plus I can access their attendees.
  • As part of this role I regularly met clients for any feedback or issues they may have plus help fulfil extra requests, ticketing or other.
  • I enjoy going the extra mile for clients such as making children's goodie bags with Monster Truck gifts or managing to secure tickets at other venues for clients.
  • I produce analytics for our Head of Sales so she can see where we need to give extra time to help sell out our Hospitality.
  • Reporting sales to the Sales Manager on excel, word, google sheets and live through Teams. Currently I am using microsoft 365 to compile folders and financial reports for the team.

About Me

I'm a very organised person who is methodical and practical in everything I do at work and at home. Friends rely on me to be the person to organise anything from their Glastonbury tickets to flights, cars and accommodation on holiday. Usually I work 5 out of 7 days plus late nights so there are no restrictions on my working hours as I work when I am needed.


Over the years I have made many connections around Manchester to gain me access to Arts, Theatre, football and concert venues.


I have had to deal with my problems and difficulties over the last few years in relation to Covid and the terrorist attack. Much of the time I had to think on my feet in relation to cancelled or rescheduled shows and events moving to other venues. I feel like I can take on any problem and find a way to solve it.

Everyone needs time and understanding. I try and treat everyone as equal and extra time is given to people who have special needs.


During the Covid pandemic I was furloughed from the AO Arena. I took a job at Tesco for 8 months as I don't like sitting about doing nothing. It kept me active and gave me structure in my life during that difficult time.

Interests

I enjoy travelling and have been to many amazing places around the world such as Japan, Australia, USA, Thailand & India. At the end of 2019 my husband and I bought a small house in Sicily and we have been trying to renovate it ever since. I love music, film, art, theatre and live concerts. As well as small shows in and around Manchester I have also been to large Festivals such as Bestival and Glastonbury

At home I enjoy cooking and baking a lot of varied food styles plus eating out regularly around Manchester. Trying new foods is always exciting. I'm pescatarian although 95% of the time vegetarian.

We have a puppy called Wilson who is an Old English Sheepdog/Springer cross.
