My job role at the college consists off:

• Performing planned maintenance within specified timeframes for good workplace efficiency. These tasks includes, Fire alarm testing, basic plumbing, painting, electrical and also assisting contractors onto the site, keeping student accommodation up to live in standard.
• Apply best practices to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Completed regular equipment checks to maintain good, safe working order.
• Respond to out of hours (emergency) calls. This could be boiler, security issues and fire alarms.

I gained my joinery qualification with JELD-WEN. My duties in this job role included

• Putting together window frames fulfilling orders.
• Utilised hand and power tools efficiently, ensuring fine finishes on products.
• Operating tools, machinery and equipment to cut materials for construction use.
