Joey Minor

I very much enjoyed working for my dads construction company because I got to learn the ins and outs of the process of a building project. This was a good way of seeing how a project is completed from start to finish which will help me in the future career I hope to do which is a technical role in construction. I enjoyed the hard work and different aspects everyday as no day was the same. I also enjoyed communicating with different tradesman such as plumbers, bricklayers, carpenters and ground workers as I got to ask them questions and got to understand how their role effects each part of the construction project. Ever since I was younger I always used to go around with my dad to clients houses to watch every part of the construction process such as the salesman side and measuring up of a job to the costing and the actual build of the project which is where I would watch and take in every aspect and learn from these different angles.
