I achieved lots of great things in my role with co-op; in my last review I scored exceeding for my accomplishments in 2022 and I have also in the last 5 years worked on some personal goals such as buying a house and getting married.
I am a very committed individual with a real focus on quality of work. I am easy to get along with, I treat everybody with respect and develop relationships with my peers whilst holding myself to a high level of professionalism.
I am ready for my next adventure and challenge and hope you will consider me for your post.
My role as a store manager involves but wasn't limited to;
Conducting staff meetings to increase engagement within the store team to drive and deliver key KPIs.
To lead the team by example and offer on the spot feedback.
Recruit and develop new colleagues to achieve a high customer standard in service consistently.
Ensure all tasks are achieved and all business and store specific tasks are done in the time allocated.
Establish a health and safety aware team.
Ensure and maintain legal compliance.
To reduce costs in store such as waste and leakage.
Reduce stock holding by following business processes and training the management team to deliver.
Implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the store team through performance reviews.
I am a proven manager with over 9 years of Retail Management experience. In my last 8 years at Coop I managed a variety of stores, ranging from 15 to 50 colleagues, using my knowledge to develop store teams and in that improve performance, customer loyalty and profitability.
In my current role as a Product Specialist at LawWare, I primarily focus on Project Management, where I oversee the end-to-end client onboarding process for our software. Working within a collaborative team, I manage individual projects, ensuring seamless execution and successful client transitions. I leverage my strong communication and organisational skills to co-ordinate efforts across teams, meet project deadlines, and deliver high-quality results, all while maintaining a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for clients.
In the year between those roles, I had been working as an Assistant in a Firm of Solicitors which has helped widen my knowledge and experience in the world of work. Through this role I had been assisting the cashroom with managing client's ledgers and the firms accounts; and I have gained some knowledge in Executry administration.
I am a very motivated individual and am always striving to achieve over and above what is expected. I am a strong leader and engage with the teams I work with to inspire them to work together to ensure all targets are met and delivered consistently.
In my last 12 months at Coop I was working within the wider area of 20 stores to control payroll costs and I was responsible for ensuring the region hit their payroll budget. I was also tasked with increasing the area Talkback engagement score by creating a presentation which highlighted how I had increased engagement within my store team and communicated this to my peers enabling them to create more positive communication channels within their own teams.
