This fast paced and challenging role is where i have thrived. Currently responsible for 20+ Install teams throughout the length and breadth of the country delivering Solar Panel Installation,Cavity Wall Insulation,Loft Insulation,Extraction,Roofing and Void property works (full refurbs). I pride myself on hard work, exceptional customer service skills, and really enjoy motivating my teams to ensure targets are met and goals are reached. Working alongside big energy companies such as British Gas and EON I have to ensure every install is to a high standard. I have to be available at all times night and day to answer any queries or fix any issues my teams came across. Health and Safety is paramount and i have to make sure every single person is adhering to regulations including doing health and safety inspections on all crews weekly, liasing with customers and contractors and ensuring partnership work including councils and housing associations are carried out to everyone's standard. I set a high precedent and have had a lot of good feedback from numerous teams,customers and managers alike. Investigating issues from installs and verifying is works can infact be carried out on properties is also commonplace including whether the property is structurally sound, any damp issues, remedial works and scoping the building / carrying out EPC's.

During my time with Dryplast i was in charge of the full range of Customer care issues on newbuild and domestic properties upon completion and handover to the client. I had to inspect properties rigorously and ensure they were up to a high standard and spec. Dealing with Site agents ,customers and housing associations to ensure all parties were satisfied with the final product and arranging further remedial works if so needed. Everything had to be completed within a specific time frame and on a strict budget which i excelled in. When issues would arise within a property i had to do a full investigation and get to the source of the issue.

• Prepared sites for insulation and the installation of fittings by nailing furring, drilling holes for screws and bolts and erecting scaffolding and ladders. I operate cavity guns to blow and spray mineral wool, fibre fill and foam insulation material into cavities, exercising meticulous attention to safety. On an average day i complete up to 4-5 properties across the country per day, exceeding company average by 20%. Maximising performance of hand tools and equipment, performing routine maintenance through testing and checks. Correctly identifying hazardous materials, applying safe handling techniques to remove them to safe sites. Reaching all areas of buildings by climbing ladders, and using mobile scaffolding in a safe manner adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Working within budgetary guidelines for effective and cost-efficient repairs. identified problems through visual and structural assessment and evaluation, implementing the most effective solutions. Covering the whole spectrum of building repairs and practises excluding gaswork and plumbing. Duties including brickwork repair,concreting,fencing,minor electrical works,waterproofing,plasterboard remedial work and landscaping. If there was an issue on the build or something needed sorting out then i was in charge of rectifying the problem and making sure its up to standard and safety.

• Working within the construction industry. Duties involving building houses,walls and letterboxes,loading job sites out,engineer plan reading,setting out levels and heights, making sure there is sufficient materials to keep the work flowing. Heavy lifting, overseeing deliveries, ensuring the working environment is clean and up to current health and safety regulations and keeping other tradesmen in the loop of the current situation.

• This role was widely varied covering all aspects of home and garden maintenance. Dealing with new and different customers on a near on daily basis,working in their homes. It involved alot of trust and customer skills as i was carrying out tasks in their private dwelling. The tasks carried out included fencing,gardening,landscaping,patio work,gutter clearing,shed building,brickwork,repointing,painting and decorating,tiling,flooring,installing fixtures and fittings and the list goes on. I covered alot of bases during this period aside from gas and plumbing.

• During my time at Dryfix i became a qualified tacker and sticker of plasterboard and drywall. The bulk of the work carried out was on New Build properties for the retirement home developer Churchill. The main role of the job was to layer off brick and block walls with a plasterboard finish,using bonding adhesive. The building of stud and partition walls was also commonplace and to build boxing and stud walls around pipes,showers and electricity boxes. Plasterboarding ceilings and alcoves was also on the agenda including patching up and completing any remedial work after different trades had to alter positions of wires and pipes.

• This role was a step up from my previous position as installer during my time at Mark Group. The company were seeking out a select few experienced and hardworking installers who knew the ins and outs of the job for the newly required positions. This role involved liasing with customers, booking in survey dates, reporting back to head office and alot of attention to detail. My main duties were to inspect properties around the southern region and make sure they were fit to be installed by the company. To see if any construction, repair or remedial work was necessary to be completed and if the property meets the criteria set by the various government schemes. This role involved gathering the information, meterage, building issues and depths of the property and compiling a report with an android networking application to be sent to chartered surveyors and the companys head office server.

• At my time at Mark Group I had been installing cavity wall insulation for customers and properties throughout the south of England. Assessing the risks and factors involved in carrying out the job safely and to a high standard. Liasing with customers and talking them through the details of the work to be carried out is one of the many responsibilities. Inspecting the said properties to ensure the condition is up to a sufficient standard to benefit from energy saving insulation. Filling out the correct paperwork and performing co2 and safety checks to make sure there are no underlying problems which could cause issues. Setting up harnesses and safe ladder and access systems as we had to drill and fill the exterior of the property from all heights. Duties have also included validating and inspecting properties before and after installs. Maintaining and keeping the work vehicle up to a high standard is commonplace. Fully Carded with Knauf / Polypearl .

• Working very long hours and travelling the length and breadth of the UK. Duties involved include the oversight and general condition of the said vehicles. Delivering vehicles to numerous outlets. Ensuring they are up to a safe and satisfactory standard. Dealing with many owners, customers and dealerships and making sure they are happy with the services provided. Overseeing the maintenance and repairs of damaged vehicles to ensure they are up to degree expected by the customer. Working to very tight schedules, navigating myself around the country, map reading, driving and customer service.

• Working within the construction industry.Started out laboring for multiple bricklayers in sites up and down the country. Duties would involve keeping to a tights schedule, making sure they have adequate materials to keep the work flowing, heavy lifting, overseeing deliveries, ensuring the working environment is clean and up to current health and safety regulations and keeping other tradesmen in the loop of the current situation. Then moved on to bricklaying where work would have to be completed to a deadline and in often stressful situations, working with chemicals, keeping buildings to the standard desired, customising work to suit the customer, working from heights and general maintenance. Prepared work area using standard tools including chalk lines, tapes, squares and levels.
