I currently work for Stabal a creative agency that specialises in media production, marketing services and web/platform creation.
This experience so far has led to delivering Livestreams for YouTube at the O2, building educational platforms for international students, documentaries and creating 1000s of pieces of content across the independent music sphere utilising both existing platforms, and creating an advanced streaming/ viewing application. We create brands, build their platform and market them to the world through world class media. Stabal acts as both a content and marketing engine for our clients, and are able to deliver world class results across the board.
Progressing from my role of Project Manager into Engagement Manager has meant an increase in my level of responsibility for the projects Stabal completes.
I am ultimately responsible for overseeing any and all work streams, working with project managers, subject matter experts and key stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver results across the company:
I worked to generate and convert sales leads into long term customers. I managed my sales pipeline from cradle to grave, specifically focussing on hospitality wholesale opportunities:
My role at Clifton Coffee was both new business, and account management of the large portfolio of existing customers. This was a hugely enjoyable role, leaving was simply due to aspirations to move to London and to ultimately work in the creative sector:
I was the main event manager at a 1700 capacity venue, The Forum in Bath. This led me to work with artists and acts such as The Script, George Ezra, James Arthur, Emeli Sande, Jack Whitehall and many more household names.
I would advance, plan and manage shows as well as showing clients around for prospective bookings. I was in charge of a staff team of 75+ people of which I oversaw the training and development, other responsibilities included:
I was the youth worker for Bagley Baptist Church - where I ran the youth group and organised events and external activities. This was a volunteer role, I worked outside of this in coffee shops to support myself to enable this to be possible:
This role began as a two-week trip to work at a youth camp but, after seeing the work that was done and what it achieved, I decided to go back and spend the year volunteering and enabling that work to continue. I initially had no experience or knowledge of French, so among many things, the experience taught me the local language and a lot about communication generally. The volunteer work comprised three main roles, Youth work, hospitality service and construction. The work was challenging and intense, but ultimately taught me a lot practically.
The most rewarding role of the volunteer work was the role as a youth worker. This would often involved gathering leaders from around the world and planning/ hosting two week long children camps for various age groups. The responsibilities within these camps included leading small groups, preparing and delivering talks, running workshops based around sports, games or music, and generally caring for and supporting the young people that came to the camps.
