This role involved acting as a Brand Ambassador for the Prestige Irish Whiskey Brands of the Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard portfolio, and working to implement brand plans and strategy in the NI market.
• Building strong relationships with key bartenders, bar managers, bar owners, and influential trade partners.
• Delivering immersive training sessions, portfolio masterclasses, and staff education in top-tier accounts.
• Supporting development and execution of on-trade activation plans (perfect serves, menu placements, experiential events).
• Collaborating with the On-Trade Commercial Team to identify high-value opportunities and drive rate-of-sale.
• Ensuring consistent visibility of Prestige Whiskey SKUs through advocacy programs and tailored brand experiences.
• Partnering with off-trade teams to elevate brand visibility in premium retail and specialist whiskey accounts.
• Conducting staff education, tasting events, and consumer engagement sessions.
• Supporting premium retail launch plans
• Building relationships with category buyers, whiskey specialists and independent retail owners.
• Working closely with Brand Marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, digital content, event strategy and PR.
• Working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful NPD launches.
• Supporting PR activations, media tastings, launch and trade events/shows.
• Gathering trade and consumer feedback to support future product development and positioning.
• Planning and delivering prestige experiences across festivals, whiskey shows, trade events and VIP tastings.
• Organising and delivering exclusive tastings, educational sessions, distillery visits and portfolio showcases.
• Acting as an expert in Irish Whiskey history, production, innovation and trends
• Delivering consistent best-in-class training tailored to audiences: trade consumers, internal staff, media and partners.
