• Streamlined IT Operations: Successfully implemented Microsoft Intune to centrally manage and secure company laptops, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and improving device lifecycle management.
• Enhanced Development Workflows: Introduced and optimized DevOps processes using GitHub, enabling seamless version control, collaboration, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Architected Cloud Solutions: Designed and deployed Kabeelah's Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution, adhering to best practices outlined in the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework to deliver scalable, and secure Cloud infrastructure.

In this role I was instrumental in implementing Opal Waves on-prem SAP solutions and then their Azure offering. I was involved in customer projects from start to finish, to ensure consistency and the best experience for the customer when the system was handed over to the support team.

• Designed and implemented Opal Wave's V2 on-prem hosting platform.
• Developed automation, backup, monitoring and security solutions for hosting platform.
• Mentored members of the infrastructure support team.
• Co designed Opal Wave Azure Cloud offering with the Solution Architects.
• Implemented Opal Wave's hybrid on-prem, Azure Cloud platform.
• Implemented DevOps for Azure Cloud deployments, developing Terrraform templates for Infrastructure as Code deployments.
• Developed a BASH based backup management tool for SAP HANA.
• Migrated all customer SAP systems to Azure, using native tools and Terraform.
• Implemented several customer SAP solutions in Azure.

• I started at BIST as Technical Sales Support, but quickly became the Lead Solutions Engineer, taking responsibility for all BIST internal IT systems which enabled the company to cancel an outsourced contract
• I also assist with day to day IT issues within the office and support the sales team with technical knowledge

• This role was very varied, but mainly involved receiving tickets from clients stating their issues which could be as simple as updating software or troubleshooting a specific issue, hardware or software related.
