As a Store Training Manager, I fulfil the job role of Store Manager, responsible for a branch made up of 9 direct reports and £1.5m turnover. For the last 2 years, my branch has been in the top 4% of the company for overall operational performance (587 total branches). I am also responsible for the full induction training, and ongoing coaching, of new manager to the business, as well as any internal colleagues taking their first steps in a manager role.
This role is the senior position in the region, after the Regional Manager (region made up of 27 stores). So along with training, I will also deputise for the Regional Manager. Some of my responsibilities are, but not limited too:

As store manager, I am fully responsible and given full ownership of branch that had 11 direct reports and an annual turnover of £1.8m. My primary function is to ensure that I deliver strong sales return working inline with the company strategy. During my time in this role, I moved the branch into the top 5 turn over stores of the division (approx. 240 branches in division).

My primary job role was to provide operational support to my Regional Manager. I was responsible for my day to day diary, planning in store visits to stores through out my week. These visits were deign to help maximise the potential sales that we could get out of our stores, to help raise money for life saving research. I also undertook the role of lead volunteer coach for the area, focus on assisting store manager in the recruitment, training and retention of the volunteer population in British Heart Foundation.
As a Trading Manager I had a number of responsibilities, including (but not limited to) key holding, people management, completing and documenting regular safety checks for the store and upholding all company policies and procedures. This role also required regularly taking full responsibility for the store (£18m turnover pa) in the absence of the Unit Manager
I this role I was responsible for 23 direct reports, and ensuring that store was fully replenished and handed over to the Trading departments in a well presented manor ready for customer trade. I was solely responsible for the store through out the night.
