I am a hardworking school leaver who has a passion for social media, content creation and marketing, eager to seek work or an apprenticeship in a media role post A-Levels at Moulsham High School. I have been working in the financial sector since September 2025 but looking to pursue my passion in media by securing a role alongside my own content creation. I have studied google SEO & various algorithms (such as TikTok) learning how to boost engagement, when is the best time of day to post and how to keep viewers retained.
I'm seeking a role in which I can show my skills Infront of a camera but develop my skills in post production.
Allocating large invoice finance payments, team work and training new members of staff are some of the skills I have been able to develop since becoming a data processor. With the growth of invoice finance, this role has enabled me to manage large workloads which need to be met daily, developing my determination and time management skills through busier periods of the financial year.
As of recently, I have been granted increased responsibility allowing me to authorise the payments and work of my team members as well as taking on payments from our receivables and construction departments. This increase in responsibility has opened the horizon to managerial opportunities, taught me how to train new members of the team so they are ready for once their probation period has concluded and personally allowed me to develop my skills in team management.
Taking payments over the phone and speaking to debtors outside of my organisation has taught me correct phone etiquette and allowed me to build confidence communicating with people I am less familiar with.
Due to busy schedules and large payments, being able to use your PC efficiently is vital. I am now well versed in multiple payment systems (Barclay card, Natwest FacFlow, DanceRace C3) , confident in using all elements of office 365 and self taught keyboard shortcuts to meet payment deadlines sooner than my peers.
Due to the dynamic nature of each sale, having key sales skills can be translated to a variety of different positions, no matter the industry.
This role has left me with the confidence to approach customers and deal with their unique queries effectively to ensure their satisfaction while in store is better than competitors.
Day to day, I was responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, keeping shop floor standards high by cleaning stands and fixing shop fittings and occasionally helping in the stock room by managing stock levels and packaging customer orders.
I am also familiar with commission based pay, hitting sales targets and multi-selling. Being able to sell a product to a customer they didn't initially shop for was something I did daily to meet my personal targets and also help my store hit their regional targets.
Over the years at Schuh, I received multiple positive reviews and feedback from my service to consolidate my skills and also learn what techniques work for each type of sale.
