Mustard Seed Charity & The Laura Facey Foundation, 07/01/19, 07/31/19, Jamaica, At 16 I flew out to a country I had never been to before to join a charity (Mustard Seed) looking after abandoned severely disabled children. I spent 8-10 hours per day completing all day-to-day chores necessary for the children including feeding, and the running of the communes where I was stationed. Additionally, I worked with the Laura Facey Foundation in which I taught children who did not have the opportunity to go to school basic maths, engineering tools and computer code. We built a functional rollercoaster using Lego technic and coded a cart for the track using a raspberry pi computer module.
