The skills and the abilities I possess include always putting patients first whilst providing safe and quality care. Within this role, I understand I have the duty to ensure patients, myself and my work colleagues are safe at all times and I follow all regulatory guidelines and procedures, especially in respect of maintaining confidence, safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety. I possess excellent communication skills and always use effective communication that is tailored to the situation and I am able to embrace change and adapt to it to improve my job and always take responsibility to maintain competence through a continuous process of learning and development and improvement.

Over the years I have gained considerable clinical experience and I have attended several courses that would make me an excellent candidate for this post.

I am well-versed in assessments techniques, laboratory tests for different conditions. Highly analytical, organised and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to getting ahead of conditions, managing symptoms and making patients comfortable. Positive and upbeat professional with a deep love for the field and patients.

I am applying for the position because my experience, skills, and knowledge would make me an excellent match for the role and ambitions. I would be looking foward in becoming ANP in your organisation looking forward to achieve a non medical prescribing qualification.

  • Hospital avoidance agenda - Patients are referred by GP's, Ambulance crews and self referrals.
  • Work autonomously to assess, diagnose and treat patients with minor illness and/or chronic conditions within patients homes.
  • To perform clinical assessments, history taking, physical examinations and evaluate clinical data to obtain a diagnose - as non - prescriber would relay diagnostic assessment to GP/ANP to initate a treatment plan in alignment with patient diagnosis, consistently promoting patient wellness.
  • Hospital referrals when patients condition unsuitable to be treated at home or required speciality input.
  • To undertake and interpret diagnostics tests and procedures and escalate treatment accordingly using evidance based guidelines eg. NICE guidelines and/or referrer the patient to the appropriate service.
  • Educated patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis and treatment options to support informed medical decisions.
  • To referrer patients to other members of the team for especialized input and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe and high quality clinical care.
