On reading through the person specification and criteria for this position of home working, I can fully commit to all the essential abilities needed to do this. I have the necessary experience and knowledge from being at the Children's Hospital for 17 years plus doing a bank job with the clinical psychology team.
My reason for applying is that, one of my colleague who is now a good friend works for you and gave me your website. Also I have worked with DICT8 since 2011 but times have changed there. The work is not available like it used to be. I work part time in the hospital but when I am not in work DICT8 does not supply much work as before. As stated in my work history, I strongly feel I can quickly become a positive contributor. I have excellent knowledge required to type medical reports from home. These transferable experiences will enable me to always provide a first class level of service. I set myself high standards, especially being a competent NHS employee for many years.
This post ran concurrently with my main job. I helped on the Bank for a few months at this service until their post was advertised and filled.
This was the start of my NHS career. I worked in a very busy X-Ray Department typing reports daily and at that time the Department had x-ray bags which I married up with x-ray reports daily.
Undertook general office duties such as distributing incoming faxes, filing and photocopying.
Handled telephone calls and took messages to relay to work colleagues.. Booked patients notes in and out using the hospital system.
Communicated with patients and doctors on a regular basis.
Left this position in April 2008 to further my career to become a medical secretary at Derby.
