- Adopting crucial attention to detail and being adept at noticing small often over looked details crucial to investigations whilst employing knowledge of legal frameworks governing searches.
- Utilising analytical and critical thinking to determine best search strategies based on context and available information and adapt to change.
· Voluntary Attendance Officer
- Maintaining responsibility fo physical and mental wellbeing, and fair and humane treatment of attendees at approved police stations interviewed under caution.
- Conducting risk assessments and maintaining records of interactions, decisions and events and interacting with legal representatives and other stakeholders in accordance with legal requirements within the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).

- Conducting evaluation of student officer practical assessments, evaluating performance against established criteria and learning outcomes to determine level of achievement.
- Providing detailed verbal and written feedback on student performance and development points.
- Collaborating with educators to align assessment methods with curriculum goals, and ensure comprehensive understanding of student needs.
- Identifying students requiring additional support or intervention, based on assessment results.
- Upholding standards of fairness and integrity within assessments to ensure consistency and equitability.
- Providing detailed classroom-delivery lesson observations for practitioner working towards Level 4 qualifications.
